Apollo Graduate Earns National Dance Recognition

Apollo Graduate Earns National Dance Recognition and Makes Program History
Apollo High School is celebrating a historic achievement: Class of 2026 graduate Lillian Alkaabi earned an Honorable Mention from the National Honor Society for Dance Arts (NHSDA). The prestigious National High School Dance Award program honors students who demonstrate excellence across multiple areas nationwide. Lillian’s selection makes her the first student in Apollo’s dance program history to earn this recognition and the only student in Arizona to receive an Honorable Mention this year.
Known for her leadership, dedication, and thoughtful approach to dance, Lillian distinguished herself not only by her technical ability but also by the maturity and intentionality she brought to her work. Her achievement represents a meaningful milestone for Apollo’s dance program and serves as inspiration for future AHS dancers. This fall, Lillian will continue her journey at Arizona State University.
Congratulations to Lillian Alkaabi on this incredible national recognition and the lasting impact she has made on the Apollo High School community.
