FROM THE DESK OF PRINCIPAL WHITE

Parents and Guardians,
May is here, and the countdown to the end of the 25–26 school year is on. April flew by, and it was a great month for Apollo.
We returned from spring break and successfully completed ACT and state testing—thank you to our students for being prepared and showing up ready to do their best.
We also had a chance to showcase so many of the great things happening at Apollo. Baseball and track hosted major events with strong performances, and our theater program delivered an outstanding spring musical, She Loves Me.
On April 22, we celebrated our seniors at our Honors and Awards Ceremony. It was a special night recognizing their accomplishments and the impact they’ve made. I’m excited to share that the Class of 2026 has already earned over $7 million in scholarships and that number continues to grow.
As we head into May, spring sports are wrapping up. Baseball is competing in the state playoffs, and several track athletes will be participating in the state meet. We wish them the best of luck.
Our performing arts programs are also finishing the year strong. Our dance show is this week, and we will have upcoming choir and band concerts. These are great opportunities to come on campus and see the incredible talent of our students and the strength of our performing arts programs.
We have less than three weeks left in the school year. Please pay close attention to the schedule during the final week, as it will be adjusted. Graduation is May 20 at Desert Diamond Arena at 12:30 PM.
If your student needs summer school—whether to catch up or get ahead please make sure you’ve registered. Deadlines are in the first week of May. For incoming freshmen, Project SHARP is a great opportunity to get prepared for high school.
Looking ahead, the 26–27 school year will be here quickly. Incoming freshmen should turn in enrollment packets and complete required testing this week. If you have questions, please contact our counseling office. Walk-through registration will take place the final week of July, and the first day of school is August 10.
Thank you for your continued support of Apollo. We appreciate our partnership with our families and look forward to finishing this year strong. Our students continue to do amazing things, and that is a direct reflection of your support.
