FROM THE DESK OF PRINCIPAL WHITE

Dear Apollo Families,
As we move through the second semester and reach the halfway point of third quarter, it’s hard to believe that 2026 is already one month complete. I want to share a few January highlights and what’s coming up in February.
January Highlights
January was a great month at Apollo. Our NJROTC program successfully completed its Annual Military Inspection (AMI), where students demonstrated the skills, responsibility, and discipline they continue to build. We are proud of the professionalism shown by our cadets.
Our Apollo Dance Company had an outstanding performance at the Spotlight Dance Cup Competition, earning two first-place awards and showcasing the talent of our dancers and coaches.
Our Unified Sports Basketball team also had a strong showing, finishing second place in the district tournament. This was a great example of teamwork and what it means to be an Apollo Hawk.
Looking Ahead to February
ACT preparation is underway for our junior students. Apollo is offering an ACT prep course to help students prepare for the ACT in late March. The ACT can open doors to scholarship opportunities, and space is limited, so please be sure to sign up your junior student.
Spring sports begin in February. Please make sure your student has completed all Register My Athlete paperwork and is cleared through the Athletic Office. As winter sports wind down, Boys and Girls Basketball, Boys Soccer, and Boys and Girls Wrestling are preparing for state tournament opportunities. We encourage you to come out and support our Hawks.
On February 3rd, Apollo will host Parent University in the cafeteria at 5:00 p.m. You should have received an earlier email with details. This event will include valuable information, door prizes, and snacks, and I hope to see you there.
Please continue to check ParentVUE regularly and reach out to teachers or administrators through ParentSquare with any questions. Thank you for your continued support as we look forward to a strong start to the rest of 2026.
Go Hawks,
Benjamin White
