This one-time event is your opportunity to explore all that Apollo High School has to offer, including outstanding academics, competitive athletics, clubs and activities that connect students, and fine and performing arts programs that shine.

FROM THE DESK OF PRINCIPAL WHITE

Hello Apollo Families,
It’s hard to believe we’re already in November and the first semester is almost over! The next few weeks will fly by, so now’s the time to finish strong.


Highlights

  • Fall Sports: Thank you to our fall athletes for a great season.  Congratulations to our state swimmers competing this Friday and Saturday. The Apollo band is making school history by qualifying for the State ABODA Arizona State Band Championships!  THis is the first time in school history!
  • Performing Arts: Our theatre program put on two amazing shows in October. Coming up in early December, join us for our dance, choir, and band performances in the auditorium.
  • Winter Sports: Tryouts for soccer, basketball, and wrestling begin this week. Games and matches will start mid-November and continue through February. Come out and support our Hawks!

Academics
With just six weeks left in the semester—two of which include Thanksgiving and finals—attendance and effort matter more than ever. Students who show up every day are the ones who succeed. Please check ParentVUE regularly and reach out to teachers through ParentSquare if you have questions. Semester grades go on transcripts, so encourage your student to stay focused and finish strong.
Student Life
Student Council continues to lead with spirit, planning fun activities and organizing a holiday food drive to help local families. Ask your student how they’re getting involved!
