FROM THE DESK OF PRINCIPAL WHITE

August Recap – Welcome September
It’s hard to believe we’ve already completed the first month of school. The year is off to a strong start, and we’re excited about what’s ahead.
Fall Sports & Activities
Swim, cross country, golf, volleyball, badminton, football, cheer, and band are all underway. We encourage you to come out and support our Hawks. Assistant Principal Ms. Fain will send weekly updates with details on both home and away events.
Grades & ParentVUE
Parents, now is a great time to review your student’s grades and upcoming assignments in ParentVUE. If you see a missing assignment, please connect with the teacher—it usually means the work was not turned in rather than not graded.
Attendance Matters
Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential skills for school and for life after high school. Thank you for supporting this important expectation at home.
Homecoming Week
Save the date: Homecoming will be September 22–27. Highlights include the parade, carnival, Friday night game and crowning of our king and queen, and the Saturday night dance here at Apollo.
Staying Connected
Thank you to everyone who attended Open House. Please continue to reach out to teachers with questions, encourage your student to get involved, and consider joining our Apollo Community Council.
We are grateful you have chosen Apollo for your student and look forward to continuing our partnership for a successful year.
