Dear Continuing and Incoming Apollo Students,

We are so proud of you for your hard work and willingness to adapt in this truly unusual time. We also know that your entertainment and learning options may seem a bit more limited right now, and as teachers, we always want you to keep learning. To that end, we are providing a summer reading list and optional enrichment extra credit opportunity for all students attending Apollo for the 2020-2021 school year. If you’re looking for a book, (or two, or three) to read over the summer, we recommend the six books on the list below. Further, as you are reading the book, there are four Google Forms linked below that you can fill out to help you think about and process your reading. The forms are meant to be filled out as you read, not when you finish everything. If you complete all four forms, you will be eligible to receive extra credit in your English class in August. We hope that you are safe and well in summer, and we also hope that you will read. Please direct any questions about this opportunity to Mrs. Peterson at Lindsey.Peterson@guhsdaz.org
