This is Mr. Freiwald's Thirteenth year teaching in the Glendale Union High School District. Lucky Number 13!!!

Mr. Freiwald is an Apollo High Graduate. "Class of 1982".

 Mr. Freiwald played four years of football and wrestled during his four years at Apollo as well as being part of two back to back regional champion football teams 1980 and 1981. 

This is Mr. Freiwald’s FOURTH year teaching at Apollo . 

 Before Apollo, Mr. Freiwald taught at Cortez High School for nine years. Mr. Freiwald taught Math for six years and teaching teaching U.S. and World History for three years.
Mr. Freiwald was the Head Varsity Wrestling Coach where he had four Regional Champions participate in the Arizona state Tournament. Mr. Freiwald also has years of experience tutoring mathematics and teaching Pre-Algebra to incoming Freshmen to give them a head start(Project S.H.A.R.P).

Mr. Freiwald served six years in the United States Navy serving aboard the USS Badger (FF-1071) stationed out of Pearl Harbor Hawaii and the USS Virginia (CGN-38) stationed out of Norfolk, Virginia . Mr. Freiwald is a world traveler. After being Honorably discharged from the United States Navy Mr. Freiwald worked for Orbital Sciences Corporation. At Orbital Sciences Mr. Freiwald worked on many electronic products testing satellite tracking devices and rocket launch payloads.

Mr. Freiwald attended Glendale Community College and Arizona State University obtaining his Bachelors of the Arts in Education (Specialization in History). Mr. Freiwald has his Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University and is a state certified Administrator.
