STAY ON TRACK! GET HELP TODAY

High school can be tough, but there are plenty of supports to help you succeed! Discover the resources available to help with challenging classes.

All Apollo teachers are committed to offering office hours before school and after school.  Most are available in their rooms at 7:30 a.m. until first hour and after school until 3:30 p.m.  Encourage your student to ask about their teachers’ availabilty for extra help.  There is also Learning Center every Wednesday from 8:20-8:55 a.m., so no student should go without extra attention if they need it.

Apollo also offers the SOAR Center in the media center.  This resource runs Monday through Friday from 2:35-4:00 p.m.  A late bus runs after, and snacks are available.  At the SOAR Center, instructional aides are on hand to assist students with homework and tests.

Check grades and attendance regularly through the StudentVue and ParentVue apps.  Keeping up on grades is the best way to prevent issues down the line.  If your student is missing an assignment, ask them about it today!

Finally, communicate with teachers.  Ask them questions about your students’ grades.  You can easily access their email addresses through the ParentSquare app or ParentVue app.  Teachers are committed to responding within 48 hours during the school week.

Here at Apollo, we believe all students can succeed, but some may need more support.  Make sure your students are aware of and take advantage of all the extra help.
