Senior wins America's U.S. Junior Miss
Senior Ayana Smith was awarded America's U.S. Junior Miss.  This honor includes representing the America's U.S. Miss Scholarship Program for the next year as well as volunteering in her community and making several appearances. From July 3rd-7th contestants from around the United States gathered in Clearwater Beach, Florida to vie for this prestigious title. The young women were scored on their resume, grades, community involvement, personality wear walk, formal wear walk, and one-on-one interviews with the judges. The contestant with the highest total points was crowned, America's U.S. Junior Miss.

Along with the title, Ayana was awarded Miss Personality, which was voted on by the other contestants in the program. Throughout this year, Ayana will be volunteering for numerous organizations such as Make-A-Wish, Feed My Starving Children, and the Special Olympics; to name a few. She not only was awarded scholarship money to the college of her choice, but also won a trip to Atlantic City, NJ to watch the 2015 Miss America pageant LIVE and a trip to Disneyworld for Spring Break! She is excited to stand as a role model to kids everywhere and is so grateful for this incredible opportunity!
