C.O.O.P (Child Oriented Occupational Program)
The purpose of this program is to give “on the job training” to high school students who are interested in early childhood education. The students selected for this program have completed a year long early child development course and obtained a 3.0 grade average. Students must also complete a 5 hour observation on the developmental stages of a preschool child.
Our preschool is a working early child development lab which focuses on the developmental stages of preschool aged children.

Each child will be prepared for Kindergarten through the Arizona Kindergarten Readiness Early Learning Standards

Hours of Operation: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Our coop students will be working with the children from 8 am to 2:35 pm. Before school hours and after school hours, students will be hired to help care for the preschoolers before and afterschool. We will follow the district calendar for holidays. Please see the calendar at the end of the packet. We may also need to schedule some ½ day sessions. If these are required, we will notify you in plenty of time.
