David Devlin is in his 27th year of teaching and has been teaching at Apollo since 1993. He is a track coach, Academic Decathlon coach and sponsor of the Environmental Awareness and guitar clubs at Apollo. He is a member of the (faculty) AIMS implementation team and co-chairs the Thinking Maps implementation team
Mr. Devlin has bachelor's degrees in both biology and speech communications from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. He also has a master's degree in secondary science education from Western New Mexico University, in Silver City, New Mexico.
Mr Devlin is member of American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the National Science Teachers' Association (NSTA), the Arizona Science Teachers' Association, (ASTA) and the National Turtle and Tortoise Society. He is also a site representative for the local GUEA of the Arizona Education Association (AEA). Mr. Devlin has 3 kids and one grandson and enjoys playing guitar and reading when spare time occurs. |
