Christie Watson has taught at Apollo High School since 2001. Prior to teaching she was a Sign Language interpreter with GUHSD for 10 years. Mrs. Watson teaches students with special needs in a community based class. She sponsors Best Buddies and coaches Special Olympics.   Mrs. Watson received her bachelor degree from Arizona State University in Special Education cross categorical. She received her master’s from Northern Arizona University in Educational Technology with an emphasis in assistive technology. Mrs. Watson is a member of the National Education Association, Arizona Education Association and Council for Exceptional Children.
