Key Club completes successful year

The Apollo High School Key Club has had a very successful school year in 2016-2017, breaking their own records with the completion of 118 events, from which equates to 359 community service hours that were offered. Together as a whole, the Apollo Key Club achieved an all time personal high of 3,136 community service hours spent serving their school and community.

From accomplishing things such as meeting Governor Doug Ducey at Lighting Arizona Purple where they learned how to advocate for domestic violence, to decorating and assembling 76 activity bags for the siblings of sick patients staying at Ronald McDonald House, to making over 100 Birthday cards for homeless children, raising $855 for Relay For Life, and winning the coveted Achievement Above All Distinguished Club Award at District Convention,  Apollo Key Club has been able to fulfill so much in just one short year and hope to do it again next school year. After all, the Key Club Motto is "Caring - Our Way Of Life", and they will continue to exhibit their motto in hopes of leading their school and community into a brighter future.
