Apollo High School

Before becoming Principal of Apollo High School in 2008, Mrs. Maland served for three years as the Assistant Principal of Student Services.  Mrs. Maland has been in the Glendale Union High School District since 1985.  Although she primarily taught English, she also taught reading, Spanish, and ELL at  Sunnyslope High School.  While at Sunnyslope, she was a department chair and co-chair of the site council.  In 1997 she became the Language Arts Curriculum Coordinator and Lead Coordinator for the Glendale Union High School District.

Mrs. Maland received her undergraduate degree from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, and her M.A. from Arizona State University.
