Brian Galbreath is the newest addition to the Apollo High School Hawks. He has spent the last eight years teaching World and American History, as well as Government and Economics. Brian has worked previously at Cortez High School, Maryvale High School, and Glendale High School. He was the head football coach at Cortez and Maryvale high school. He has also worked as an assistant track coach and was involved in many other activities during his years in education. Before entering the teaching field he worked as a Social Worker at Cortez High School for two years. 

 

            Mr. Galbreath received his undergraduate degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Criminal Justice from Northern Arizona University where he also played football. He returned to school at the University of Phoenix to receive his post-baccalaureate certification in Secondary Education and Social Studies. In 2009, he graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Masters degree in Educational Leadership. 

 

            As the Assistant Principal of Discipline and Attendance for Apollo High School, Mr. Galbreath’s goal is to help guide students to making better choices and be productive citizens of Apollo high school and its community.
