Research shows that lifelong talents, personal and leisure-time interests are fine-tuned in high school. Student clubs and organizations provide valuable services to the community as well as foster good citizenship among our youth. Most importantly, participation in clubs and activities help students learn leadership skills and teamwork through interaction with others.  More than 70% of our students participate in clubs or athletic activities. This is compared to a 50% national average. Our goal is to have all students involved in one or more outside activities, and to develop a Community Mission. Students display a Community Mission when they start doing some of the things for others that teachers and coaches are doing for them. It could be in the classroom, on the field or in a laboratory.
