VASA (Visual Arts Student Awards) is a prestigous art contest sponsored by the Arizona Arts Education Association.  Each teacher is allowed only two entries.  Both of the Apollo entries won.  Congratulations to Zainab Thoayleb for winning $100 at VASA  with a batik called, "Shedding Light" and Kendra Andrews for winning $150 with a pencil drawing called, "A Turtle's World".  Their work was exhibited at the West Valley Art Museum for one month.
